    I came here all the time when I went to Wayne. I lived off Cass and ferry and it was nice to have a place that felt like a family diner to go to since everywhere else is so wannabe hipster. Food was typical but always a safe bet good diner food! Chefs were always nice to me

    I really did not think the food was worth the money at this place, even with the low prices. This is close to campus and maybe has a close place in people's hearts that attend the school but when I went it did not cut it for me.

    The place was very dirty -  Dirty floors, sticky tables, and dirty menus. I thought maybe the food would be good to make up for the unappealing inside but I was wrong.

    I got some chili and sandwich and the chili really looked unappealing and not something I would eat. I get the prices are cheap here but the quality is really not great at this place. If you can avoid it - I would go somewhere else.

    Good food, slightly pricey but I understand why due to the location. The owner is not so nice to his staff. I stopped going in as much as I did before because I didn't like hearing him yell at his staff and be rude.

    Wayne State mainstay for over 50 years this place a pleasant surprise.  Saturday brunch for us started with a fantastic Gyro Greek Salad with Pink Greek dressing,  order a large for sharing. Had the Monster Burger 2 half pound Burger Patties,  Cheese and Bacon whoa what a great Burger full pound o Love little over 8 bucks mega deal.  Great Double Damn Meat Gyro Sandwich along with Country Fried Steak n Eggs with hash browns n toast only 8 bucks.  We love the ambience spotless clean big booths.  Fast friendly service,  met the owner Tony who bought July 17 the 1890 Circa Saloon next door,  waiting on this place to be remodeled and open for a visit.  The college crowd and workers at Wayne State keep this place hopping.  Truly a hidden gem with outstanding foods.  #campusdiner #waynestateuniversity #detroit

    Good inexpensive food typical of diners. Some of the hardest working servers I have seen. I have enjoyed the French toast, French fries, salads etc.
